OVERVIEW

The Creative Art Programs give artists the opportunity of building self-esteem by discovering their talents and developing their skills. Instruction and supplies are available to explore many different artistic medias, although the final choice of materials and project always rests with the individual artist. Participation in the creative art program at In-Definite Arts also enables artists to connect with and enjoy social contact with others who share similar interests. IDAS offers a variety of creative art programs including fiberarts, ceramics, drawing, painting, sculpture and woodworking. Instructors, who are artists themselves, are available in the studios for individual instruction, help or collaboration.

As an ancillary to our creative art program, IDAS may provide occasional social functions. We will also provide guidance in evaluating an artist's experience at IDAS and suggestions for setting short and long-term goals in connection with the IDAS program. We also provide a gallery to display and sell the work of our artists.

In-Definite Arts recently received a Three Year Certification through the Alberta Council of Disability Services, meeting 100% of all standards of the Creating Excellence Together Survey. In addition, on three of the standards In-Definite Arts received commendations.
